At the top of this prestigious building, which houses a fine art museum, you'll find a sumptuous terrace, where you can sip a cocktail while admiring the panoramic views across the city.

Practical information: To access the terrace, take the lift in the museum entrance hall. You can purchase tickets at the main reception. Tickets cost €3 for adults and €2 for children.

THE VIEWPOINT AT PALACIO DE CIBELES


Climb to the top of the tallest tower of Madrid's historic and iconic building, where you'll be greeted with a stunning view across the city, as well as a chance to get inside its City Hall.

Practical information: Tickets to access the viewpoint cost €2 per adult and €0.50 per child (under 12). Entry is free on the first Wednesday of the month. If you want a tour, you'll need to book beforehand at the ticket desk located next to the building's main entrance.

TELEFÉRICO DE MADRID

The cable car cabins offer the best panoramic views of Madrid. Take a ride through the skies and see the Spanish capital from an entirely new perspective.

Practical information: Tickets for the cable car can be purchased from the ticket desks. If you want to avoid the queues, you can also buy tickets online. A return journey costs €5.80, while a one-way ticket is €4.

TEMPLO DE DEBOD

The Templo de Debod is an Egyptian temple that sits atop the Príncipe Pío hill. From here, you can admire the stunning view of the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, and the majestic dome of the San Francisco el Grande Basilica.

GAUDEAMUS CAFÉ, EDIFICIO ESCUELAS PÍAS
