If summer in Paris offers a myriad of plans, concerts and other celebrations, why would autumn be any different?
The first Saturday of October, just a few days after the arrival of the new season, ‘Nuit Blanche’ – White Night – arrives in the French capital; an activity that invites you to discover Paris in a different light. When the night falls and stars and street lamps turn on, this event will take over the streets of Paris with a myriad of cultural and artistic activities.
Our Renfe-SNCF in Cooperation high-speed trains take you to Paris so that you can enjoy a different night.
What is the ‘Nuit Blanche’ of Paris?
The perfect occasion to pay a night time visit to Paris’ greatest monuments.
The White Night is one of those nights in which sleeping is out of the question. This is because of the endless activities that will take place since 7.00 pm on Saturday, October 6 until 7.00 am of the following day. The ‘Nuit Blanche’ is therefore a magnificent opportunity for Paris citizens and visitors to know the city in an unusual way. Culture, art and music will take hold of the streets through several exhibits, concerts, art events, plays, routes and much more in an event where everyone is invited – adults, teens and children alike!
To access any of the proposed plans, a special public transportation service will be provided. White Night is an event that has been taking place in the City of Light since the year 2002.
Schedule of the 2018 edition
People take hold of the streets in night time Paris.
The new edition of Paris’ ‘Nuit Blanche’ is dangerously close, which means that you can already find out a few details about it!
It is one of the most special nights of the year, in which countless activities are scheduled to keep you awake. Be on your toes, though, because there are many that are not listed in the program, so you will have to discover them for yourself.
Four interesting routes, or “constellations,” are scheduled in this 2018 edition, for you to enjoy Paris under the starlight.
The Les Invalides Constellation offers a tour of important spots, such as Musée de l'Armée, the basement of Les Invalides, or the Alexander III bridge, ending at Champs Élysées.
The Île Saint-Louis Constellation will encourage attendees to tour this place in an unexpected way, while the Villette Constellation will showcase the various cultural proposals offered by this park.
Lastly, the Porte Dorée Constellation will lead you to the Palais de la Porte Dorée, in a route that is sure to be filled with dances and music.
But there is a lot more to it! We encourage you to discover it during your visit to Paris. Climb aboard our Renfe-SNCF in Cooperation trains, and we will make sure that you get there right on time for the White Night.
