​So you've enjoyed romantic walks along the Seine, you've fallen in love, you've had delicious breakfasts in a typical boulangerie, but now it's no longer just the two of you. So the Paris you're looking for now, the one you love so much, has to be a little different - Paris for children.

Luckily Paris is a destination which offers lots to do for the youngest members of the family - so much more than just Disneyland and the Parc Astérix. The city is full of wide pavements and an extensive public transport network so you can get around as a family without any problems.​

La Ménagerie

If your little animals love other little animals, we recommend la Ménagerie, Paris' oldest zoo located in the Jardin des Plantes, the city's largest botanical park. It's one of the best parks there is for getting close to the animals. The park is also the location of the Natural History Museum which has a whole building just for dinosaurs.

Cirque de Paris

​Cirque de Paris offers activities round the clock. Spend the morning playing and then enjoy lunch with the artistes.​


​Aquaboulevard a 7,000 m² aqua park located in the city's 15th district. As well as pools, slides and all kinds of other water activities, the centre also has tennis courts, a cinema and shops - perfect for spending the whole day with the family.

Jardin des Tuileries

​Jardin des Tuileries next to the Louvre. During the summer months, the gardens host a small fair and a giant Ferris wheel which offers spectacular views over the city.

The Grévin Museum 

​The Grévin Museum waxworks museum located in the Boulevard de Montmatre is home to famous actors, singers and football players. It's also a great place to discover a bit more about French history from some of its displays.

Jardin du Luxembourg​

​The Jardin du Luxembourg, located in the 6th district, is the perfect place to sail on a small boat in front of the palace. It also has a carousel and puppet theatre.


La Cité des Enfants​

La Cité des Enfants can be found inside La Cité des Sciencies et de l’Industrie (Europe's largest science museum), which is located in the Villette park. Endless activities for youngsters mean they can play and learn at the same time. It's split into two age groups: 2-7 and 5-12. After that, why not enjoy a picnic in the Parque de La Villette, one of Paris' finest.

The Bois de Vincennes, the largest green space in Paris, is the home to the Paris Floral Park, as well as other attractions, shows, racetracks, farms and a lake for sailing. The northern part of the Bois de Boulogne hosts the Jardin d'Acclimatation, a children's park with train and pony rides, and the Musée en Herbe in the centre of the city is a hands-on museum for learning and drawing.


Parc André Citroën

​The Parc André Citroën, located in the 15th district, has a tethered hot air balloon from which you can see magnificent views of Paris. It's also full of fountains to help you cool off on warm days.


Paris' beaches​​
