THE BEST MUSIC SHOPS IN BARCELONA, MADRID, PARIS

​Music is something that can change your mood in a second and such an important part of many people's lives. It doesn't matter what age you are or what type of music you listen to, something we all have in common is that music takes us to another place! Whether you are a professional DJ or just a huge music lover, some main cities in Europe for these magic music shops are Barcelona, Madrid and Paris. We can easily get to any o​f them in style and comfort on the Renfe-SNCF in Cooperation trains. ​

This shop is well known for its variety of music genres and has even been mentioned on BBC by one of its fans, musician Jarvis Cocker. The cosy space has not changed since opening in 1992 but it has anything you could possibly be looking for in music history.

​This shop is a little gem as it has new dancefloor releases, hard to find treasures and much more. Even though the shop only opened its doors 10 years ago in 2010, it is now a must-visit place for music fans when they come to Barcelona.  
 

Disco Killers (La Montera Street 28, Madrid) 

​The friendly and chilled vibe in this famous music shop in Madrid makes it a popular place for music lovers of all genres to come to. There is a mix of CDs, various types of vinyl, books and music-related memorabilia, latest releases and old classics. The shop is also well known for the good variety of electronic music it has. People from all over the world can spend hours in this cool shop.  ​

 

Radio City (Conde Duque street, 14, Madrid)  


This central music shop is a little gem in the middle of a big city and considered one of the best music shops in all of Madrid. They have a variety of genres but mainly indie, folk, soul and blues. They sell new records but also have some second hand classics for sale. Interestingly, they also have some prints to sell that are displayed on the walls of the shop.

These guys have 2 music shops next door to each other and each shop is dedicated to different genres. In Shop One, they have rock, psych, French music and folk, while in Shop 2, you can find soul, funk, reggae, Latin, Caribbean and African. What a great mix! 40 years after opening, they are still going strong and very well-known by all music lovers coming to Paris.  

Heartbeat (26 Rue Godefroy Cavaignac) 


Even though this music shop only opened in 2016, it hosts a great range of genres from jazz, soul, disco and funk to house and techno. You can also come across hard to find rarities in tip-top condition. It is small but very well curated and music fans, as well as professional DJs, much appreciate this wonderful musical palace.
