Barcelona and Paris. Two amazing cities, both full of special places to take pictures for your Instagram account and get new followers. Let us give you a few tips on where to take unusual photos and share your happiness! But before that, do not forget to book your Renfe-SNCF in Cooperation train tickets and do not worry about anything but to find the perfect pic.

We all know that the French capital is amazing and maybe one of the most photogenic cities in the world. Paris is unique and makes you fall in love with it. There are hundreds of amazing spots to take incredible and interesting pictures. Here are some of them.

Trocadero Square may be the place where most Instagrammers decide to capture the perfect picture of the most famous French building, the Eiffel Tower. You probably won’t want to miss this shot, but why not take advantage of the wonderful light of a sunrise or the marvellous colours of a sunset? There is also a nice carousel nearby you might want to include in the photo.

Paris is the perfect city to get incredible photos, with hundreds of places to enjoy and take a picture

The Champs Elysées is also a must location to take photographs when you travel to Paris. But there are also many different places from where to frame that all-important shot. In the middle of the avenue, facing the Arc de Triomphe (or facing away), or from the corner of one of the other streets that join the Place de l’Étoile. And you will also be able to capture special colours if you go there at dawn or dusk.

Montmartre is a classical location for romantics and artists.  From this hill, you have a panoramic view of the French capital. But don’t forget to stroll through the beautiful streets and squares of this charming neighbourhood. We are sure you won’t stop taking amazing and colourful pictures.

So those are our “essentials”. But here come a few more ideas to take something different. Have you ever thought of taking a picture of your hotel room with its view? And why not capture a rainbow of macarons or other tasty desserts in the window of a patisserie? And what about the typical Parisian café terraces lined up like toy soldiers? And last but not least, Paris is full of lovely streets, such as Rue Crémieux, where you will create the most unforgettable memories.

From Paris, let us take you on a comfortable train to the Catalan capital: Barcelona.

The most photographed monuments there may be the Sagrada Familia or the famous Casa Batlló and Casa Milà. However, if you like Antoni Gaudí and taking different photos, we recommend you travel to Casa Vicens, the first masterpiece of this great architect, which is further away from the most popular ones.

From the Montjuïc castle or the Tibidabo mountain, you can have impressive views of the entire city

If you want a panoramic view of the city, we recommend you to go to Montjuïc, Park Güell, Tibidabo or Bunkers del Carmel. From each one of these spots, you will be able to take different shots that always seem to surpass each other in beauty. You may also have a drink on the top floors of hotels and restaurants, and watch the sunset.

The Wall of the Kiss, in Plaça Isidre Nonell is also a must. This piece by Joan Fontcuberta is a mosaic made up of 4,000 tiles that show lips kissing. Each one of the images was sent by the readers of a Catalan newspaper under the topic “living free”.
