During the last years, Barcelona has become a referent in electronic music, a fact that is mainly linked to the resonance of the Sonar and the Primavera Sound festival. Even if electronic music is in the spotlight, pop, rock and underground music fans can also enjoy many other concerts.
Don't wait any longer to book your Renfe-SNCF in Cooperation tickets and experience the incredible festivals in this wonderful city.
This year, the Primavera Sound will take place from May 30 to June 1 and even if it has similarities with the Sonar, it is addressed to a wider audience, since its objective is to bring several generations together.
The concerts take place in different places of the city: the Parc del Fòrum, the Raval…
This event welcomes more than 150 different groups, from the most famous to newcomer groups, which are seeking to make a name for themselves. You will find artists like Terry Riley & Gyan Riley, Philip Glass... Check the complete programme on: https://www.primaverasound.com/. Tickets are already available!

This year will be really special, since the Sonar will celebrate its 26th anniversary with a call to the extra-terrestrial intelligence. Thirty-three artists will send music to GJ273b, a potentially habitable exoplanet located at 12.4 light years from Earth. It is a festive scientific experience and an opportunity to reflect collectively on humans and extra-terrestrials. The question is if will the answer be heard in a future edition of the Sonar?
After days and nights of music and dance, the best way to return home is to sit comfortably in a seat on-board of a Renfe-SNCF in Cooperation high-speed train. Just relax, admire the landscapes, and remember the best moments of the festival, or maybe plan your next trip!
